The #1
Sociologist
Lab

Hi, I’m Igazeuma Okoroba, my friends call me Gaz

I’m a sociologist who has worked across different worlds of civil society, academia, the public sector, and corporate spaces. I’ve hustled on the shores of Takoradi in Ghana and Canary Wharf in London, and here’s what I’ve learned:

People don’t struggle with sustainability because they don’t care. They struggle because it doesn’t fit their reality.

After over two decades of letting deep waters shape my own perspectives, my life’s work is now dedicated to decoding sustainability for you.

My secret sauce

Just like eating my food in bite-sized pieces, my lab is designed to make ideas easy to understand. This is not the space for guilt. No jargons.

I help people and organisations rethink sustainability in a way that is:

Practical

Relevant

Human

Because sustainability isn’t just about ‘saving the planet’. It’s about wholesomeness, how we live, work, and make decisions every day.

My Story

I’ve spent over two decades working across different disciplines and

in the most difficult sectors, navigating change, uncertainty, and growth.

I’ve been single, married & separated (SMS), while

navigating career and life transitions.

And like many of you, I’ve asked: “How do I make this all make sense?”

That question shaped my work and how I support Millennials today.
